Brainstorming:

The Process:

I encountered a problem that it says all errors must be corrected in order to enter play mode…
Apparently, I didn’t even noticed that I have so much error until now..

Found out that you can only add one animator, you can’t add animations on top of animations
obj export does not have color, need to export as fax

Me driving a car: use In3D for 3D scanning myself and export it to Maximo

I parented the car with Me and wanted to try place the animated camera next by my side int he car but still seeing the Coco Title outside the left window
I wanted to make another scene that when we arrive the egg grass area, the scene will bring us to a new with our boxes, now the box is just positioned underground

I created a NYU ITP building here on the sides of the road!!

I placed Ding, Riho, and my 3D scanning model that are animated with Maximo on the ITP building.

I have been struggling to find my camera and lighting. I also wanted to change the scene but wasn’t sure if I can do that with all my assets being the same..

The 3 rooms that I created right now. I wanted to add background, something like the skybox but the lighting/exposure kinda of made the figures too exposed, resulting in weird exposed color, which I don’t want. I was wondering if I should add like a solid background that doesn't have lighting that will create too much exposure. I also have a hard time finding my camera. My camera, at one point, just disappeared and when it came back, it was really weird. The angle and the view of it is just off…

Got the cameras working with parenting me and the car!

Finally arrived to the egg, where our Cornell box will be under the ground where the grass next to the egg is at.

Animation:
I’ve learned a lot during making the Cornell box. There was a lot of time that I watched Youtube tutorials and still couldn’t achieve the results that I wanted to. The box was definitely a wrap up of our Coco worm theme. The thing that I am struggling the most is the script part of making the different objects move.
Right now, I can only follow people’s script and manipulate the values and sometimes the script just doesn’t work at all..I think I have a better sense of identifying the different components added to each asset and this makes me acknowledge where and which asset I can find my components that are attached to it. I also wanted to learn how to make a trigger and transition my scene to a new world/scene but still having the same assets move to that new scene. But overall, I didn’t think that I would like Unity when starting to make the Cornell box, however, after finishing this project I fell like I wanted to dig deeper into learning Unity🙂
